Underwriting agency (MGA) specializing in construction insurance

  • DUNE is a next-generation Managing General Agent (MGA) offering both a full-digital platform and teams of expert underwriters
  • DUNE expands the Adelaïde Group’s service offering for the insurance industry
  • DUNE’s three co-founders retain their respective roles

With DUNE, the Adelaïde insurance brokerage group broadens the scope of its operations on the French market alongside the existing businesses conducted by Verlingue, Génération and Cocoon.

Established in 2021, DUNE operates on an MGA model, i.e. it is an underwriting agency to which one or more insurers delegate the underwriting of certain complex risks.

Thanks to the trust shown by leading insurance brokers, the recognized technical expertise of a 10-strong team of experts and an innovative digital platform, DUNE has already launched an initial comprehensive range of Construction insurance solutions that address this market’s specific risks and guarantees and meet the high expectations of many industry professionals.

“With DUNE, we aim to pursue our strategy of expanding the Adelaïde Group’s service offering in the fields of insurance advice and prevention, broking, distribution and services in France and Europe, and demonstrate our ability to federate talented entrepreneurs around an industrial vision, in a bid to further accelerate their growth and innovation trajectories,” said Benjamin Verlingue, Chairman and CEO of the Adelaide Group.

DUNE’s three founders remain at the helm of the company and aim to create new ranges of solutions to meet the need for insurance capacity to cover specific risks.

“We are very pleased to be joining the Adelaïde Group, with which we share our values of expertise, independence and transparency. With the Adelaïde Group’s backing, we’ll be able to boost our growth by incorporating complementary technical expertise and bolstering our digital platform in order to bring new insurance capacities to the French market,” said Florent Pernoud, Maxime Beth and Charles Quatannens, the three co-founders of DUNE.
